The Partnership Apartments represent a unique collaboration of nonprofit, religious, government and corporate partners coming together to complete a project that meets a continuing community need. The Housing Partnership took the lead in renovating and reconstructing six units in the unused wing of the building occupied by Harbor House. The units are specifically programmed for families displaced by domestic violence. Not only do families have safe, affordable housing but they also receive supportive services. Principal partners in this project were Memorial Presbyterian Church and Thrivent. Members of Memorial Presbyterian Church donated more than $110,000 and contributed more than 800 volunteer hours and Thrivent donated more than $100,000.
