Program Descriptions and Qualifications

Transitional Housing Program

  • Rent is calculated monthly based on the previous month's gross income (including wages and types of assistance).  There is a minimum income requirement of $750/month. 
  • There is a minimum of $200 for rent.
  • Tenants must participate in a program that involves such activities as weekly home visits with a case manager, work on reducing barriers, work towards earning income/gaining employment/gaining benefits and monthly inspections.
  • Some utilities are included in the rent.
  • The program is time limited to 24 months.

Affordable Housing (1)

  • Must meet a minimum income requirement which starts at $750/month, but varies depending on the composition of your household.  Click here for Affordable Housing (1) income requirements and rent amounts.
  • Rent is based on income and is not more than 40% of a person's gross income.
  • Utilities are generally not included.
  • This program is not time limited; however, rent increases 10% annually.

Affordable Housing (2)

  • Tenants must meet a minimum income requirement which begins at $1225/month.
  • Rent is based on the unit.  Rent will be lower than market rate but higher than in Affordable Housing (1) rates.
  • The units within this program are considered to have more amenities which may include large yards, basements, laundry hook ups and lower energy costs due to the units being younger.  Click here for available units in the Affordable Housing (2) program.

Permanent Supportive Housing

The Housing Partnership is not currently accepting applications for this program.  See the application FAQ section for explanation.

  • Applicant must have a documented disability.
  • This program has no time limit, but will have a month to month lease.
  • Rent is calculated based on income.
  • Supportive services are required which includes a minimum of one home visit a month.
  • There is a $250 minimum rent which includes all utilities.
  • Because there is such low turnover in this program, we accept applications only when we have an opening and not on an on-going basis.
